EMOTIVES is an improvised three-act play in miniature. The show explores how the expression of feelings through language compels decisions and ultimately influences the lives of characters. What happens when we finally say what we mean?
EMOTIVES opens Wednesday, April 13th at 8 PM at the Apollo Theater Studio, 2540 North Lincoln Avenue, and runs Wednesdays at 8 PM through May 4, 2011. Tickets are $5. Reservations may be made through the Apollo Theater box office at (773) 935-6100.
"The show emerged out of my fascination with words and, in particular, emotives sociology -- the study of the expression of feelings through words," says director Adam Ziemkiewicz. "The three-act play offers an audience and the characters a similar real-time experience when facing the challenges of connecting and understanding one another."
